Description: Join us for one of our bi-monthly Zoom calls and get answers to your interview and job search questions. Our group calls are designed to create a supportive environment where legal employment seekers can get an opportunity to get live support, ask questions concerning their job search, and receive immediate feedback, all at a fraction of the cost of traditional career coaching sessions. These are great opportunities for junior attorneys and law school associates who are new to the legal market or new to interviewing and working on a limited budget. Topics covered include: Where to find legal positions; resume preparation; working with recruiters; and interview best practices. In addition, participants will receive a coupon code for a discount on private sessions, providing them with the option for additional one-on-one coaching.
Format: Calls are approximately one-hour long. However, they can go a bit longer if there are additional questions during the Q&A sessions. Participants are encouraged to join in. The first thirty minutes consists of a presentation regarding the legal employment market, the best preparation techniques, and interview skills, and how to best position yourself to land legal roles. The second thirty minutes is open for Q&A.
Attorneys are busy people and most bill by the hour! There is no time to waste in these meetings! We will get started quickly and go through the coaching session efficiently. You are encouraged to participate and provide feedback.
Time/Date: Zoom meetings are at 8 p.m. EST on the first Monday and the third Thursday of every month. You can select which meeting you wish to join at checkout. Please note that there are no refunds for missed meetings but you can choose up to two (2) makeup dates. You may attend only one session per single, $75 purchase, although you may make multiple purchases if you wish to attend multiple meeting dates.
